What platform or platforms does this system run on? I read MAC/PC in your literature, but I just have to really check on this.
SilentPartner© consists of both a browser-based project management application (eSilentPartner) and a desktop application (SilentPartnerX), BOTH are cross-platform and thus run on Macintosh© and/or Windows© computers. eSilentPartner is completely browser-based and is designed for workflow management of projects from initial contact with a prospect all the way to billing. It incorporates job administration, estimating, traffic, group calendars, production, POs, time entry, creative briefs, digital assets, client and vendor extranets, and a myriad of reporting options. SilentPartnerX is a desktop application, for general accounting and media, which is designed for speed and security. SilentPartnerX runs natively on both Windows and the Mac OS© X operating system and on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.

Does this software run on our in-house server or on your server?
Both eSilentPartner and SilentPartnerX, with the requisite database, reside on YOUR server.
How is system priced? By number of users or by number of features/modules used.
SilentPartner is priced on CONCURRENT usage. So, for example, if you bought 40 full-time licenses, conceivably 50 people in your company can use SilentPartner but no more than 40 at a time.
Is the database software licensed separately?
SilentPartner runs on two back ends: OpenBase and Oracle. If you choose the OpenBase solution, the data base is bundled in the pricing. If you choose for the Oracle solution, you must acquire Oracle from an Oracle reseller. If you opt for Oracle, we subtract the OpenBase license fee from our quoted pricing.
What is the cost of support, how is it offered, and how quickly does it happen?
Support is based on a percentage of the number of full-time licensed users. It starts PRIOR to installing the software and data base because we provide webcast training and our JumpStart program. With Jump Start, we work with you to transfer your chart of accounts, clients, vendors and price lists into spreadsheets. We then import this data into your data base so when you receive SilentPartner with your database, a significant piece of the key entry of 'master' data is eliminated. Product support is offered as soon as the installation is up and running. Note: SilentPartner customer support and eForum online support is available to your entire staff.
Where are you located and what time zone are you in?
Our corporate headquarters is in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA (near Valley Forge). We are in the Eastern time zone. Plus we have customer service operations in the Central time Zone.
What are your upgrade fees and policies for upgrades?
Clients who use SilentPartner must pay annual support. With this, our clients receive ongoing updates for both SilentPartner eProject and SilentPartner SQL.
How can I see a live demo?
Most demonstrations are achieved through our web conferencing service. For larger installations, in-person visits may be necessary. Please contact sales at 610-666-1955 x112 or fill out our demonstration form at this site.
Can two office locations communicate and share data?
Easily, we have many clients with multiple offices. Because SilentPartner eProject is browser-based, NO ADDITIONAL software (such as Citrix) is needed. We also have extensive reporting on office data, such as office income statements, job ownership by office, staff utilization by office, to name a few.
How do you go about implementing the software if we agree to go with your system and how long does it take?
We custom design implementation plans for each new clients including considerable web training to facilitate the implementation. So the overall implementation is usually no less than one month and no more than two months.

Client/Server architecture provides real-time updates. For security and speed, the media and accounting system reside on your desktop.
