Project Management: Job Start Window

The nucleus of project management is the Job Start window. Here you can:
  • Add jobs, using your own, predefined format for job numbers.
  • Maintain and access key information about the job.
  • Develop the creative plan using one of your predefined templates.
  • Develop your estimates, whether starting from scratch or using one of your templates.
  • Track the entire history of the job in the notes section.
  • Develop staffing plans, collateral specs, traffic plans, etc.
  • Keep multiple versions of estimates, specs and creative plans
  • Generate requests for bids from your specs and automatically e-mail them to your vendors.
  • Automatically create and e-mail purchase orders from the Job Specs window.

The "financials" of the job are retained in the Job Summary window. From here, you can:
  • Generate a client invoice.
  • View a real time recapitulation of financial entries against the jobs: charges, invoices, (pending) purchases—all in summary or indetail.
  • Print or reprint any invoice associated with the job using any of more than thirty styles.
  • Generate a job profit or job income statement.
  • Apply pre-bill balances to several jobs at once.
So by using just two windows to navigate, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the health of a job using up-to-date information. There is no excessive clicking.
